AI Engineer Job Description:
Tesseract Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level AI Engineer to join our team and work on an innovative AI-powered teacher assistance platform. This platform aims to automate and enhance teaching tasks, enabling educators to generate exams, correct assignments, evaluate student competencies, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
AI Model Development: Design and implement AI/ML models to power features like exam generation, competency evaluation, and performance analysis.
OCR Integration: Develop and integrate advanced Optical Character Recognition (OCR) systems to process and analyze handwritten exams.
Machine Learning Optimization: Build machine learning pipelines that adapt and improve based on user interactions, enhancing system accuracy and scalability.
Backend Collaboration: Work with the backend team to integrate AI functionalities using frameworks like Node. js or Python (Django).
API Integration: Collaborate on integrating AI APIs like OpenAI's ChatGPT API and OCR tools such as Google Vision API or Tesseract OCR.
Data Handling: Manage large datasets for training AI models, ensuring data security and compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
2–4 years of experience in AI/ML engineering.
Proficiency in Python and AI libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
Experience with OCR technologies and tools.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React. js, Vue. js) and database systems (MongoDB or PostgreSQL) is a plus.
Strong understanding of competency-based education systems and adaptive learning technologies.
