Peugeot is a famous French automaker which started out in 1810 as a steel foundry, making kitchen and hand tools. Later, they started making bicycles. Over the years, Peugeot has come to be associated with cars, including sports cars, luxury cars and now, electric vehicles. They also make commercial vehicles.

Peugeot in Pakistan

In Pakistan, Peugeot teamed up with Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) and officially launched its operations in 2022. The partnership includes opening of 8 3S dealerships in 6 major cities of Pakistan. It also includes construction of a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant.

Models

Peugeot 2008 - In Pakistan, locally-assembled Peugeot 2008 was launched in January 2022. It's a crossover, B-segment, SUV, which will compete with other crossover SUVs like KIA Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, MG HS and ZS and others.

Peugeot 2008 is launched in two variants:

Peugeot 2008 Active

Peugeot 2008 Allure

Allure is the premium variant which comes fitted with such state-of-the-art comfort and safety features like sunroof, 6 airbags, 6 speakers, Active Blind Spot Detection and Front Sensor, Driver Attention Assist 3, Lane Keep Assistance, Highbeam Assist, etc. These features are missing in the Peugeot 2008 Active variant.

Peugeot 3008 - A C-segment, compact, crossover SUV, this vehicle is yet to be launched in Pakistan.

Peugeot 5008- A 7-seater MPV with a body of an SUV, this vehicle is also yet to be launched in Pakistan.
