Changan Overview
Changan is a famous Chinese automobile manufacturer with millions of car sales in China. It joined the Pakistani auto market in 2018 by a joint venture with Master Motors and introduced Changan Karavaan and M9 pickup. In 2019, the company started to produce these vehicles locally and introduced another pickup M8 after Master Motors obtained greenfield status under Pakistan’s first auto policy. However, M8 was discontinued in 2021.
In the start of 2021, the company launched the 2nd generation Alsvin (first and cheapest sedan of the company in Pakistan). The company has also launched an SUV named Oshan X7 in 2022.

Changan M9 It is a 2 seater pickup that comes in white color. Changan M9 has a 999cc In-line 4 Cylinder engine that produces around 68 hp @6000 rpm and 92 N.m torque @4000 rpm. It has FWD-5 Speed Manual Transmission. It has a moderate cargo space of 2750x1520x370 mm. From the front, it just looks like Changan Karvaan.
Changan Karvaan is a mid-sized 6 seater (optional 7 seats) MPV introduced with a 1L engine in 2018. Its gasoline multi-point injection, in-line 4 cylinder OHC engine produces 68 hp @ 6000 rpm and 92 N.m torque @4800 rpm. It is equipped with dual air conditioners, LCD display, and 2 speakers, It comes in 2 variants (Karvaan and Karvaan Plus). Karvaan Plus has many modern features like power windows (front), power steering, keyless entry, central locking, etc.
Changan introduced its first sedan Alsvin (2nd generation) in 2021 in Pakistan. This sedan comes in three variants including Comfort 1.37L (manual), Comfort 1.5L (DCT), and Lumiere 1.5L. 15-inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs, multi-function steering, dual airbags, faux leather seats, rear parking cameras and sensors, are some of their common features.
Oshan X7 is the first SUV introduced by Changan in 2022. It comes in two variants named Oshan X7 Comfort (7 seater) and Oshan X7 FutureSense (5 seater). Turbocharged NE15 series, high pressure TGDI 1,499cc engine coupled with 7 Speed transmission (Wet DCT Triptronic) is common in both variants. It produces 185 hp and 300 N.m torque.
19-inch Alloy wheels, electric panoramic sunroof, electric rearview mirrors, faux leather seats, auto climate control, front airbags, ABS, BA, EBD, traction, electronic stability control, are some of their common features.
