Job Title: WordPress Developer (Template Modifications & Updates)
Location: Garden Town
Job Type: Contract to Full time
Salary: 35,000 - 50,000 + Bonus (Based on performance)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to modify, update, and maintain WordPress themes and templates. The ideal candidate should have experience customizing WordPress themes, improving website layouts, and ensuring seamless functionality. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in front-end development, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize WordPress websites for performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
-Modify and update WordPress themes/templates based on design and functionality requirements
-Occasionally customize existing themes using HTML, CSS
-Implement layout changes, UI enhancements, and new features
-Ensure websites remain responsive, fast, and user-friendly
-Troubleshoot and fix theme-related bugs and compatibility issues
-Optimize website performance, loading speed, and security
-Ensure WordPress updates, plugins, and themes are properly maintained
-Work with designers and content teams to improve website aesthetics and functionality
-Conduct website testing and debugging before deployment
Requirements:
-Proven experience in WordPress theme customization and template modifications
-Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS is sufficient
-Experience with WordPress page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc. )
-Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
-Ability to troubleshoot WordPress issues and resolve conflicts
-Experience with website performance optimization techniques
-Familiarity with SEO best practices for WordPress
-Basic knowledge of MySQL and web hosting environments
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with WooCommerce theme modifications (if applicable)
-Knowledge of accessibility and UX/UI best practices
-Understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, and child themes
