Job Description:
We are seeking a highly disciplined and organized Warehouse Gate Supervisor with a background in the army or similar experience in security or operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing goods and vehicles, ensuring strict adherence to security protocols, maintaining balance and control at the warehouse gate, and overseeing security operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Incoming and Outgoing Traffic: Supervise the movement of vehicles, personnel, and goods entering and exiting the warehouse.
• Organize Rosters, duties and training of security team
• Security and Surveillance: Ensure all incoming and outgoing deliveries are checked for compliance with security protocols. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, cargo, and personnel.
• Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of vehicle and delivery movements, and ensure proper documentation for incoming and outgoing goods. Provide reports to management as needed.
• Balance and Control: Implement effective checks and balances for all operations at the warehouse gate, ensuring no unauthorized access or irregularities.
• Warehouse Security: Work closely with the security team to monitor and ensure the overall safety and security of the warehouse premises.
• Enforce Safety Protocols: Ensure that all safety and security protocols are adhered to by staff and visitors at all times.
Qualifications:
• Must have previous experience in a similar security-related role.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
• Basic computer skills (for log-keeping and reporting).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Education:
• Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent. Relevant experience in security, military, or similar roles is required. Ability to read and write in English
