Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor & Content Creator to join our salon's marketing team. As a Video Editor & Content Creator, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and engaging video content that showcases our salon's services, team, and brand. The ideal candidate will have excellent video editing skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conceptualize and create video content: Develop concepts and storyboards for video content that aligns with our salon's brand and marketing strategy.
2. Film and edit videos: Film salon services, events, and team members, and edit footage into polished, engaging videos.
3. Create motion graphics and animations: Design and create motion graphics, animations, and other visual elements to enhance video content.
4. Develop brand-specific style guides: Establish and maintain a consistent visual brand identity across all video content.
5. Collaborate with the marketing team: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure video content aligns with our overall marketing strategy.
6. Optimize videos for social media: Edit and optimize videos for various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
7. Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality content: Deliver high-quality video content on time, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
Requirements:
1.2+ years of experience in video editing: Proven experience in video editing, preferably in a creative or marketing agency setting.
2. Proficiency in video editing software: Expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
3. Strong creative and visual skills: Excellent visual storytelling skills, with the ability to create engaging, polished video content.
4. Attention to detail and organization: Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively with the marketing team, salon staff, and external partners.
Nice to Have:
1. Experience with motion graphics and animation: Knowledge of motion graphics and animation principles, with experience using software such as Adobe After Effects.
2. Familiarity with social media platforms: Understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
3. Experience working in a fast-paced environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality content under pressure.
