Job Title: Truck Dispatcher/Sales Development Representative

About Us:
We are a leading transportation company seeking highly motivated and organized individuals to join our team as Truck Dispatchers / Sales Development Representative. As a Truck Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in coordinating the movement of goods and ensuring timely deliveries. If you have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the movement of trucks and trailers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Dispatch drivers and coordinate routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delays
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Manage and update dispatch software and systems
- Analyze data and optimize dispatch processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of experience in truck dispatching or a related field (we are willing to train the right candidate!)
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and industry standards (or willingness to learn)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in dispatch software and systems (such as TMS, GPS tracking, etc. ) or willingness to learn
