A well-established UK-based travel agency, is looking to expand its team by hiring a Travel Consultant / Air Ticketing Agent. We offer an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting customers with their air travel needs and providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Air Ticketing Services: Handle the booking, issuance, and modification of domestic and international air tickets across various airlines.
• Customer Consultation: Advise clients on the best travel options, including flight routes, fares, and travel dates.
• Flight Management: Coordinate and manage flight schedules, booking confirmations, and ensure ticketing processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Booking Platforms: Use industry-standard booking systems (e. g. , Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) to issue tickets and check for availability.
• Customer Support: Address any customer inquiries or issues related to bookings, changes, cancellations, and refunds.
• Flight Promotions: Promote and recommend special airfares, offers, and discounts to clients.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and provide an excellent customer experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience in air ticketing or travel consultancy is highly desirable however fresher can apply.
• Familiarity with global distribution systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A passion for travel and providing exceptional customer service.
