Job Description:
We are seeking a Tekla Draughtsman/Detailer with at least 3 years of experience in the structural steel industry. Candidates with less experience but relevant project work will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Model structures using Tekla based on engineer’s designs.
Add connections per engineers’ calculations.
Generate general arrangement and fabrication drawings.
Create information packs for fabrication, including assembly drawings and material lists.
Collaborate with contract teams to resolve technical queries.
Interpret structural and architectural drawings, reports, and specifications.
Qualifications:
Proven experience using Tekla Structures in architectural metalwork or structural steelwork.
Ability to detail from design team drawings for fabrication.
Strong time management and project management skills.
Excellent communication with client engineers and architects.
Knowledge of current regulations and codes.
