Senior UAE Accounts and Tax Preparer Job Summary The person will be responsible for managing the accounting records of multiple UAE based clients. This role involves the accurate recording of all financial transactions, maintaining up-to-date financial data, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with VAT regulations. The person will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate monthly financial reporting and compliance in timely manner. Key Responsibilities: • Communicate with clients to gather required information and answer their queries on time. • Accurately doing monthly accounting. • Perform monthly reconciliations for all clients. (e. g. cash, bank, receivables, payables, etc. ) • Prepare and file VAT returns for your assigned clients. • Preparing month-end reports. • Ensure compliance of international accounting standards. • Comply with the company's data management policies. • Ensure a thorough self-review of assigned clients’ reports. Qualifications: • Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Certification: Part certification in accounting (CA, ACCA, ICMA) or another relevant field will be preferred. • Experience: 1+ years of experience, preferably managing multiple clients in a similar role. Preferred Skills: • Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, accounting software like QuickBooks, Smartbooks, Zohobooks, Oddo, Tally, or similar clouds-based software. • VAT Knowledge: Basic understanding of VAT regulations, especially in the UAE, and experience in preparing VAT returns. • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in bookkeeping. • Organizing Skills: Ability to manage the accounting records of multiple clients simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively. • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and resolve their queries. • Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to identify discrepancies and proactively resolve them. Time Management: Ability to meet tight deadlines and work efficiently under pressure, especially during month-end and tax filing periods.
