Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, supporting the financial operations, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
* Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
* Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
* Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning and decision-making.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audit processes, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
* Support tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and deadlines.
* Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for strategic planning and business decisions.
* Participate in the development and implementation of accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Experience:
* Minimum of 1-2 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a mid-level role.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e. g. , QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* High level of integrity and professionalism.
