Position: Retail Salesman

Reports To: Store Manager / Assistant Manager
Job Overview:
As a Retail Salesman, you will be the face of our store, engaging with customers to help them find the products they need, answering their questions, and providing a high level of customer service. You will be responsible for achieving sales goals, maintaining product knowledge, and contributing to the store's overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet customers as they enter the store, provide product information, and assist with finding items based on customer needs and preferences.
Sales:
Actively engage with customers to drive sales by recommending products, upselling, and cross-selling where appropriate.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on store products, features, and promotions to inform customers accurately and enhance their shopping experience.
Store Presentation:
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing, including product displays, signage, and shelves.
Cash Handling: Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the register, handle cash, credit/debit cards, and returns as per store policies.
Inventory Management:
Help with stock replenishment, restocking shelves, and managing inventory levels.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members to meet daily sales targets and provide support as needed.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain a Positive Attitude: Always stay friendly, approachable, and professional in all interactions with customers and coworkers.
Requirements:
Previous experience in retail or customer service (preferred, but not required).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong sales skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for handling transactions.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Additional Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Sports and Fitness is a plus.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
