Description
As aa Restaurant General Manager for our group of restaurants, you will be an essential member of the management team, playing a crucial role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring outstanding customer service. You will work closely with the General Manager to streamline restaurant functions, foster a positive team environment, and drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight: Assist in the day-to-day operations of the restaurants, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and managing staffing levels.
Leadership: Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, resolving guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively.
Staff Training: Train staff on customer service standards and ensure they consistently meet or exceed expectations.
Recruitment and Supervision: Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising restaurant staff, ensuring a high level of performance and morale.
Shift Management: Schedule and oversee staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage and optimal performance.
Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff members.
Financial Assistance: Assist in budgeting and forecasting, helping to develop strategies to achieve financial targets.
Marketing Support: Collaborate with the head office to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
Policy Development: Work closely with the General Manager and the management team to develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and maintain restaurant equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and sanitation standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a senior management role within the restaurant and/or Hotel industry.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
Knowledge of financial management and budgeting.
Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience in a General management or Director F&B role of a fine dine full service or Hotel Restaurant. Foreign experience preferred.
Salary Range
Extremely competitive based on experience plus benefits. Housing options are also available. Company car will be provided after one year of service.
