Description
The Relationship Officer for the Wedding Marquee will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing event logistics, and ensuring a high standard of service delivery. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate client needs to ensure that weddings and events hosted at the marquee run smoothly and exceed client expectations.
#### **Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Client Interaction:**
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with couples, event planners, and other clients.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing queries and providing personalized service.
- Conduct site visits and consultations to understand client needs, preferences, and vision for their event.
- Assist clients in selecting suitable wedding packages, decor, and event setup options that match their budget and style.
2. **Event Coordination:**
- Work closely with internal teams (design, catering, logistics, etc. ) to ensure the marquee is set up according to client specifications.
- Manage the timeline of events, ensuring everything is on schedule.
- Oversee the preparation, setup, and breakdown of the marquee, ensuring all aspects of the event run smoothly.
3. **Vendor Management:**
- Liaise with third-party vendors (caterers, florists, entertainers, etc. ) to coordinate services and deliveries.
- Ensure all vendor services are in line with the client’s expectations and timeline.
- Build and maintain a network of reliable, high-quality vendors to offer clients.
4. **Client Feedback & Aftercare:**
- Gather client feedback post-event to ensure satisfaction and improve future services.
- Address any concerns or issues raised by clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure long-term client relationships are fostered, with the potential for repeat business and referrals.
5. **Sales & Marketing:**
- Promote the wedding marquee to potential clients through various channels, including social media, wedding fairs, and referrals.
- Assist in developing marketing materials and promotional content.
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and maximizing event bookings.
6. **Administrative Duties:**
- Maintain detailed records of client communications, contracts, and event requirements.
- Prepare and process contracts, invoices, and payments.
- Ensure compliance with legal, health, and safety regulations related to event hosting.
