vintage 1960's Rado Diastar 1 watch, brushed metallic dial, lovely condition !! This is a lovely example of this fabulous vintage gent's watch. This model was the first of the Diastar range, launched in 1962, and the first watch to feature a case made from highly scratch-resistant tungsten carbide. The case is in excellent order with no significant marks and the watch has its original Rado crown. The stainless steel caseback shows minor signs of use and age. The beautiful stone-set silver-grey brushed metallic dial is in excellent condition. The Rado automatic movement runs very well and the watch keeps very good time (as with any vintage watch, accuracy cannot be guaranteed). The quick-set date function works as it should. The bracelet is stainless steel and in very good condition with minor signs of wear. The watch will be carefully packed and sent insured.
