Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Officer
Location: Kamion Pharma, Plot No. G-4/C, SITE, Super Highway Phase-II, Karachi, Pakistan
Job Summary:
Kamion Pharma is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Officer to join our team. The QC Officer will oversee and ensure the quality and compliance of advanced wound care products. This role is crucial for maintaining our high standards, ensuring product safety, and adhering to regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance: Conduct routine quality checks and inspections on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
2. Testing & Analysis: Perform various tests (e. g. , sterility, moisture content, tensile strength) on wound care products, documenting results accurately.
3. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain precise records of QC activities, including inspection results, test data, and non-conformity reports; prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
4. Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that all QC procedures meet GMP, ISO, and local regulatory standards relevant to wound dressing manufacturing.
5. Equipment Calibration: Oversee the calibration and maintenance of QC equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy in testing.
6. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with production, R&D, and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot quality issues, provide feedback, and support process improvements.
7. Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in QC procedures and contribute to implementing enhanced quality systems.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in a pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with wound care products, sterilization processes (e. g. , Electron Beam, Gamma Radiation), and GMP/ISO standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Skills:
• Proficient in quality testing techniques and use of lab equipment.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
