Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our team. The Purchaser will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, products, and services at competitive prices. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the market, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and service.
Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Process purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely procurement.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments for replenishment.
Conduct market research to identify trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and budget constraints.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Address any issues related to orders, deliveries, or supplier performance.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Purchaser or in a similar procurement role.
Strong knowledge of market trends and sourcing strategies.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Understanding of supply chain and inventory management.
