About the Role:
In this role, you will play a vital role in fostering a love of learning in our young students. You will create and implement engaging lesson plans based on the Montessori method, which emphasizes self-directed learning, exploration, and hands-on activities.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement creative Montessori lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and interests of each child.
Create a stimulating and well-organized classroom environment that adheres to Montessori principles.
Guide and observe students during their independent learning activities.
Assess children's progress and document their development.
Foster a positive and nurturing environment where children feel safe, respected, and encouraged to explore.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience for all students.
Attend professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest Montessori practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a Montessori classroom.
Strong understanding of the Montessori philosophy and methods.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
