We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our media team. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing a wide range of video content, including promotional videos, social media clips, documentaries, and live events. The ideal candidate will have a strong visual sense, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under deadline.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Edit video footage to create engaging, high-quality final products
- Work closely with producers, directors, and writers to understand project vision and goals
- Select and assemble footage, audio, and visual effects to create a cohesive narrative
- Use editing software (e. g. Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro) to edit and refine footage
- Add music, sound effects, and visual effects to enhance the viewing experience
- Ensure all edits are accurate, timely, and meet brand style guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and quality across all video content
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
*Requirements:*
- Experience in video editing
- Portfolio that showcases your editing skills and style
- Proficiency in video editing software (e. g. Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro)
- Strong understanding of storytelling principles and visual aesthetics
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadline
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, or related field
*Nice to Have:*
- Experience with color grading and audio design
- Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects
- Familiarity with 360-degree video and virtual reality editing
- Certification in video editing software (e. g. Adobe Certified Expert)
- Experience with project management and workflow optimization
