Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Ladies' Tailor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, altering, and repairing ladies' garments to the highest standards of quality and fit.
*Key Responsibilities*
1. *Pattern Making and Cutting*: Create patterns and cut fabrics for ladies' garments, including dresses, tops, pants, and skirts.
2. *Sewing and Construction*: Sew and construct garments using industrial sewing machines and hand-stitching techniques.
3. *Alterations and Repairs*: Alter and repair existing garments to fit customers' measurements and preferences.
4. *Fitting and Finishing*: Conduct fittings with customers to ensure a perfect fit and make any necessary adjustments.
5. *Quality Control*: Inspect garments for quality and ensure that they meet the highest standards of craftsmanship.
*Requirements*
1. *Experience*: At least 2-3 years of experience as a ladies' tailor.
2. *Skills*: Proficient in pattern making, cutting, sewing, and altering ladies' garments.
3. *Education*: Diploma or certificate in fashion design or tailoring.
4. *Physical Demands*: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy fabrics, and work with manual sewing machines.
5. *Language*: Fluent in English (spoken and written).
*Preferred Qualifications*
1. *Fashion Design Knowledge*: Knowledge of current fashion trends and styles.
