Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to gather and analyze market rates, draft business correspondence, and utilize MS Office tools effectively. The ideal candidate should possess excellent research skills, communication abilities, and proficiency in documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research & Rate Collection:
o Gather and analyze market rates for products/services relevant to the business.
o Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and industry contacts to obtain competitive pricing.
o Maintain an updated database of market rates and trends.
2. MS Office Proficiency:
o Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
o Perform data entry, formatting, and analysis in Excel (e. g. , Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc. ).
o Organize and manage digital records efficiently.
3. Letter Drafting & Documentation:
o Draft official letters, business emails, and internal communications as required.
o Prepare quotations and following company guidelines.
o Ensure accuracy, clarity, and professionalism in all written communications.
4. Coordination & Communication:
o Collaborate with different departments to provide updated market rate information.
o Assist in negotiations by providing well-researched data and documentation.
o Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
• 16 yrs education or diploma holder
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in market research, procurement, or a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Work Experience:
• 1-3 years of experience in market research, procurement, or a similar administrative role.
Additional Requirements:
• Ability to analyze data and present insights effectively.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of industry-specific pricing trends (if applicable).
