Job responsibilities include:
maintaining network infrastructure such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Troubleshooting network-related issues.
Monitoring network performance and capacity, and making adjustments as needed.
Managing and maintaining network-attached storage
Providing technical support to end-users.
Improve network performance and security including data security.
Collaborating with other professionals to implement projects and support business objectives.
The ideal candidate should have:
Strong knowledge of network protocols, topologies and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
Experience with network security best practices and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and ability to troubleshoot and resolve network and IT-related issues.
Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
Understanding of cloud-based networking.
Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, etc. are a plus.
