Description
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) drawings and layouts for various projects. As an HVAC Draftsman, you will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1). Prepare detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings for HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and equipment placement.
2). Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop accurate and efficient HVAC designs.
3). Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
4). Make necessary revisions to HVAC designs based on feedback or project changes.
5). Ensure that all HVAC drawings comply with building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
6). Coordinate with other departments (electrical, plumbing, etc. ) to avoid design conflicts.
7). Maintain project documentation and manage drawing records.
Qualifications:
8). Diploma or certification in Mechanical Drafting, HVAC Technology, or a related field.
9). Proficiency in AutoCAD or other drafting software (Revit, SolidWorks, etc. ).
10). Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
11). Familiarity with building codes and industry standards related to HVAC systems.
12). Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in preparing technical drawings.
