Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing both on-site and home-based workers, ensuring quality control, maintaining inventory, and driving overall productivity. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Oversee daily production activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
2) Manage a team of skilled workers, including on-site and home-based staff.
3) Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain order and discipline.
4) Monitor individual worker performance, providing guidance and feedback to improve productivity.
5) Coordinate with team leads to maintain high-quality standards in all products.
6) Maintain accurate records of raw materials, inventory, production quantities, and quality checks.
7) Ensure timely access to materials and inventory, with proper documentation.
8) Resolve any production-related issues and communicate effectively with all team members.
9) Report regularly to senior management on production status and any challenges faced.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in production management, preferably in the fashion or accessories industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management and production planning.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with digital tools for documentation and monitoring (e. g. , - Google Sheets, project management software).
- Ability to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
