**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in graphic design, specifically within the printing industry, and a keen understanding of the pharmaceutical sector's requirements. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail, an in-depth knowledge of print production processes, and the ability to create visually compelling designs that meet regulatory standards and client needs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conceptualize, design, and produce a wide range of print materials specifically for the pharmaceutical industry, including packaging, labels, inserts, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and translate it into effective print designs that comply with industry regulations.
- Prepare files for print, ensuring all specifications and standards are met, including regulatory compliance.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure our designs are innovative and compliant.
- Work closely with the print production team to ensure designs are accurately reproduced in the final product.
- Maintain brand consistency across all design projects.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers within the team.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience, with a focus on print design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of print design projects, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Experience with pre-press processes and print production.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to take constructive criticism and adapt designs based on feedback.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical packaging and labeling.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Experience with large format printing and digital printing techniques.
- Familiarity with project management tools.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations (e. g. , FDA, EU directives).
