Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to join our finance team on the night shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate reporting, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English to effectively communicate financial data across the team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards. Process and review financial transactions, such as invoices, receipts, and payments. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all accounting entries are recorded in a timely and accurate manner. Prepare tax returns and ensure adherence to tax laws and deadlines. Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting. Perform reconciliations for various accounts (e. g. , bank, accounts payable/receivable). Prepare financial reports and present findings to senior management. Monitor and manage cash flow, making recommendations for improving financial performance. Support external audits and liaise with auditors as necessary. Maintain accounting records, including accurate filing and documentation of all financial transactions. Ensure internal controls and company policies are adhered to, mitigating the risk of financial discrepancies. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e. g. , CPA, ACCA) is preferred. Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role, with at least [X] years of experience. Strong knowledge of accounting software (e. g. , QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of tax laws and financial regulations. Fluent in English – both written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective reporting and coordination with the team. Additional Requirements: Willingness to work the night shift (hours to be specified). Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
