Job Description:
Shah-e-Zaman The Quran Academy is seeking a dedicated Female Quran Teacher for our in-office afternoon shift. This position offers an opportunity to teach the Holy Quran with a focus on accurate recitation, proper Makharij, Tajweed, and a strong foundation in Islamic values, ensuring students gain both a deep understanding and correct recitation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Quran Recitation: Teach Quran recitation with accurate Makharij (articulation points of Arabic letters) to ensure authentic recitation.
Styles of Recitation: Provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Hadar (fast-paced recitation) and Tarteel (slow, rhythmic recitation).
Nazra Quran Instruction: Guide students in the Nazra Quran course, focusing on proper pronunciation and fluent recitation.
Quran Memorization (Hifz): Support students in memorizing the Quran, ensuring correct application of Tajweed rules for phonological accuracy.
Islamic Knowledge: Teach core Islamic knowledge, focusing on obligatory teachings and principles that foster a holistic understanding and practice of Islamic values.
Learning Environment: Maintain a positive, structured, and disciplined learning atmosphere.
Qualifications:
Fluent in Urdu with basic English proficiency.
Must be a Hafiz-e-Quran or demonstrate a high level of recitation accuracy with full knowledge of Tajweed.
Thorough understanding of Makharij and Tajweed rules.
Basic computer skills for managing online resources and student records.
Punctual, committed, and disciplined.
Additional Skills:
Prior experience in Quran teaching, either online or in person.
Familiarity with digital tools for educational support and record-keeping.
