Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to handle the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a solid understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, and other components.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to execute installations and repairs accurately.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustments or repairs.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, ensuring systems comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance of electrical systems.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using tools such as multimeters and other equipment.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with electrical codes.
Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and project status.
Stay updated with advancements in electrical systems and industry standards.
Requirements:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
3+ years of hands-on experience as an Electrician in commercial or industrial environments.
Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
Familiarity with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
Ability to work with power tools and hand tools effectively and safely.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging environments, including at heights or in confined spaces.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
Preferred:
Certification in specialized electrical work or additional training in advanced systems (
