Description
An electric fence is a barrier that uses electric shocks to deter animals or people from crossing a boundary. It consists of a wire or a series of wires that are electrified with a high voltage pulse of electricity. When an animal or person touches the fence, they receive a painful but harmless electric shock that discourages them from trying to cross the fence again. Electric fences are commonly used in agriculture to keep livestock from wandering off, and in security systems to protect property from intruders.
