Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry & Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing data entry tasks related to inventory, and ensuring smooth operations in stock management. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, proficiency in data entry, and the ability to manage inventory efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Data Entry: Accurately input inventory data into the company's inventory management system.
• Inventory Tracking: Monitor and update stock levels regularly, ensuring timely updates in the system.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile physical stock with system records to identify discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
• Order Management: Track incoming and outgoing orders and update inventory records accordingly.
• Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports on stock levels, trends, and other inventory-related metrics.
• Data Analysis: Assist in data analysis to support inventory forecasting and decision-making.
• Stock Audits: Participate in periodic stock audits and assist in identifying issues that need addressing.
• Order Processing: Assist in preparing inventory for shipment and managing any stock movement in the warehouse.
• Communication: Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations and efficient inventory management.
Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in data entry or inventory management roles.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or other spreadsheet software. Experience with inventory management software (e. g. , SAP, Oracle, etc. ) is an advantage.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to work with large volumes of data and maintain high levels of accuracy.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory and data records.
Desired Skills:
• Strong communication skills for coordination with other teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with basic supply chain principles.
