Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Dairy Software Operator to join our dairy farm team. The right person should know how a dairy farm works and be good at using farm management software. They will make sure animal care records are well managed in the software and work with vets on breeding plans. Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records of herd health, medical treatments, insemination, pregnancy status, and vaccination schedules.
• Keep animal cards updated with all relevant data.
• Have detailed knowledge of milking procedures and manage milking data effectively.
• Update feeding groups with customized feed recipes and maintain daily feed records for all animal groups.
• Operate and maintain dairy farm management software efficiently, ensuring accurate daily data entry.
• Work closely with farm management and staff for smooth farm operations, communicating effectively and coordinating tasks as a team.
• Generate regular operational reports for management and analyze farm performance data to suggest improvements.
• Follow farm protocols, biosecurity measures, and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
• Candidates with at least 3 years of experience or more will be preferred. Proven experience in dairy farm operations and software management.
• Strong data entry, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with animal husbandry practices, farm equipment, and software applications
