Location: Karachi (Night Shift)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with expertise in US tax regulations to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with US tax laws, and providing support for our clients' financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update accurate financial records using accounting software.
- Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and manage ledgers.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and submit tax filings, including sales tax, payroll tax, and income tax.
- Ensure compliance with US tax regulations and keep up with tax law changes.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reports.
- Provide support during audits and tax reviews.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address financial and tax-related queries.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, with strong knowledge of US tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e. g. , QuickBooks, Xero).
- Proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
- Strong understanding of tax filing requirements for federal and state levels.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and time-management abilities.
