Description
Job Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and related financial reporting.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Conduct financial analysis and support decision-making with timely and accurate data.
Assist with audits and coordinate with external auditors as required.
Maintain financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
Proficiency in accounting software (e. g. , QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
