About Us:
We are a leading cosmetic company seeking an experienced and skilled Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining our financial records, managing sales tax, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Record and reconcile sales tax, advance sales tax, and material in/out transactions.
• Prepare and manage receivable notes.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and anomalies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
• Collaborate with the management team to make informed financial decisions.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the cosmetic industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e. g. , QuickBooks, SAP).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.
• Experience with inventory management and cost accounting.
• Familiarity with sales tax laws and regulations.
